Students from Abroad
Are you considering spending a summer, semester or year at the University of Toronto? Exchange gives you the flexibility you may be looking for, as well as the opportunity to live in Toronto and study at the University in classes with local students.
One of the benefits of exchange is that you are able to study abroad, while still paying your regular tuition fees to your home institution. Please contact the exchange office at your institution for details about application procedures — in order to come on exchange to U of T, you must be nominated by your home institution first and therefore cannot apply to us directly. Please take a moment to review the study options for inbound exchange students to give you an idea of what options might be available to you at U of T, before you submit your application.
If your university is not listed as one of our partners, you will not be eligible for exchange. However, for students whose institutions are not on our partner list, there may be other study options that will suit you.
