Academic Semester Dates
The post-secondary school year in Canada is divided into three terms:
Fall (early September to late December)
Winter (early January to late April)
Summer (mid May to late August)
The precise dates of each term vary according to academic faculty. The regular academic year for most faculties includes both the Fall and Winter terms. Only the Faculty of Arts & Science, Mississauga (UTM), and Scarborough (UTSC) offer Summer term courses.
You can find a listing of important dates on the U of T website.
