Global Lounge

Have you ever wanted to know where you can get more information about going abroad — maybe you'd like to work in Scandinavia or take courses in France? 

The Global Lounge is a great place to start your journey. Located in the Pendarves Room on the main floor of the Cumberland House, the Lounge houses a variety of resources to help you explore the myriad international opportunities on offer to you. Using the Global Lounge's resource library, you can find and explore sources containing information about U of T's exchange partners and other study abroad opportunities. You can also learn more about how to get a job overseas or what it means to volunteer abroad.

The Global Lounge will soon also be the site for many new workshop initiatives, such as developing cross-cultural competencies, engaging in in-depth study of various travel regions and gaining health and safety advice.
